**The Fall of the Morrisons**

But this was only the beginning of what Protocol 7 would do to them.

Diane lunged forward, her designer heels crunching over the broken wine glass. “You worthless little liar! This is my house! My son’s house!”

Arthur raised his hand calmly. “Actually, Mrs. Morrison, the property was purchased through Harrington Global’s executive housing fund. Title has been transferred back to Ms. Harrington as of six minutes ago.”

Brendan looked like he was going to be sick. He turned to me, eyes desperate. “Cassidy, please. We have a child coming. You can’t do this to us.”

I placed both hands on my belly, feeling my daughter kick again — stronger this time, as if she too was finally free.

“You did this to yourselves,” I said. “For eight years I stayed silent while you mocked me, belittled me, and treated me like garbage. I stayed because I hoped you would change. But tonight… you poured dirty water on your own unborn granddaughter.”

Jessica tried to slip toward the door, but two security officers blocked her path. “I didn’t do anything!” she squeaked. “This is between you and Brendan!”

“You laughed,” I replied coldly. “That made you part of it.”

Within the next hour, Protocol 7 unfolded like a perfectly executed storm. All Morrison family credit cards were declined. Their luxury cars were remotely disabled. Bank accounts linked to the company were frozen. Even Diane’s famous country club membership was revoked before dessert could be cleared from the table.

Diane collapsed into a chair, sobbing dramatically. “I was only joking… It was just water…”

“Just water?” I walked over to the same bucket still sitting on the sideboard and picked it up. Without hesitation, I poured the remaining filthy liquid over Diane’s perfectly styled hair. She gasped in shock.

“Now you actually look presentable,” I said, echoing her earlier words.

Brendan fell to his knees in front of me. “I love you. I’ve always loved you. Please, Cassidy. Don’t destroy us.”

“You never loved me,” I whispered. “You loved the version of me you could control. The poor girl you could humiliate.”

Arthur cleared his throat. “Ms. Harrington, the legal team has prepared the documents. Full custody will be granted once the baby is born. The Morrisons have been removed from all company records and properties.”

As security escorted them out, Diane screamed threats while Brendan begged for mercy. Jessica cried silently, clutching her designer bag that would soon be worthless.

I stood at the grand window and watched them leave — three broken figures walking down the long driveway with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

One month later, I gave birth to my daughter, Aurora Harrington. She entered the world surrounded by love instead of cruelty. I never looked back.

Brendan tried to fight for custody, but the mountain of evidence — recordings of years of emotional abuse, the video of the water incident, and financial fraud — ended any chance he had. The Morrisons lost everything. Diane now works as a waitress in a small diner. Brendan sells used cars. Jessica left him the moment the money disappeared.

Sometimes the greatest revenge isn’t loud. It’s simply removing the mask and letting people see who truly held the power all along.

I raised my daughter to know her worth — and to never let anyone pour dirty water on her dreams.

**THE END**
